Creations from QUE Design Studio are featured on a new slick magazine distributed with the Sunday Times of Malta. Edited by Kristina Abela and Carina Camilleri, #FeelGood is a style and fashion publication. This initial edition covers autumn/winter 2015-2016.
Gladiolus large earrings from the QUE collection appear as part of the Style Round-up (on page 26) where I was invited to collaborate with a photographer to present a coat, shirt and shoes from Massimo Dutti and Pull&Bear black jeggings/jeans. I’ve had a desire to work on a photo-shoot with Ali Bosios for some time and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for that. We met at the Cirkewwa Gozo ferry jetty and Ali captured a number of photos for the editors to select the one they wanted to include in the first edition of FeelGood magazine.
I chose this particular look on this occasion because it shouts out autumn to me and yet it is delicate and tender in texture and tone.
My style inspiration is normally driven by the daily calendar or the project I’m working on at a particular moment in time. To compliment my customary bold yet simple dress sense for this little project I finished off the look with a pair of my own creations. The Gladiolus large earrings are a personal favourite and I thoroughly enjoy wearing them whenever I can. To me, they are the essence of the bold and simple look I seek in my dress style.
